T-SHIRT TIPS

Our T-Shirt Tip this month focuses on how to keep your black tees looking black. Often times when we purchase a black t-shirt after a few times wearing it the shirt starts to look not so black anymore. Well here are a few tips on how to keep your black t-shirts looking new.

5 EASY TIPS

1. Wash blacks with blacks.

2. Always wash your blacks inside out. This way if the dye does rub off it is a black color and the abrasion will be on the inside of the garment.

3. Use the right detergents. Use detergents that don't cause fuzzing on your shirts.

4. The next thing you can do is the vinegar thing. Yup, the old wise tale of soaking your black jeans or colored t-shirts in white vinegar.  By soaking black fabrics in vinegar and cold water at least an hour before washing them, this allows new or old black dyed colors to set in the fabrics. Now this only works for washable fabrics, so do not go putting your new black leather coat in the washer.

5. The next step is simple but important. When you are washing, always put your black fabrics on the gentlest cycle available.

So there you have it - just a little info to keep you on top of your game. If you are going to rock M.T.S. gear you got to Represent. But most important you got to
